DSP News Release: Detectives Request Public Assistance in Identifying Fraud Suspect
Location: · TD Bank, 1803 Marsh Road, Wilmington, DE
Date of Occurrence: · Friday, October 14, 2011 at 3:00 p.m.
Victim: · 37 year old New Jersey man
Suspect: · Black male, unknown age. · Surveillance photo attached
Resume: North Wilmington-The Delaware State Police are requesting the public’s help in identifying a fraud suspect.
The incident occurred on October 14, 2011 at approximately 3:00 p.m. as a male suspect entered the TD Bank on Marsh Road, and attempted to fraudulently remove money from the victim’s bank account by utilizing a fictitious New Jersey identification card with the victim’s name on it. The teller became suspicious and did not complete the transaction. The suspect fled from the bank.
