DSP News Release: Troopers Investigate Grocery Store Robbery

Victim:

·         32 year old female employee

Suspects:

·         White male, unknown age, average build (No further description). Last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, gray pants, with cloth covering his face.  Suspect armed with an unknown type handgun.

·         White male, unknown age, average build (No further description). Last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and pants, with mask covering his face. Suspect armed with knife.

·         White male, unknown age, average build (No further description). Last seen wearing a dark colored coat and pants, with mask covering his face.

Stanton-Troopers are investigating the armed robbery a Mexican grocery store that occurred last night in Stanton.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m. last evening as 3 male suspects entered the Abarrotes 7 Hermanos grocery store located at 2305 West Newport Pike, Stanton. One suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and another displayed a knife and demanded money.  The victim complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash.  The suspects fled the business on foot in an unknown direction.  There were no injuries at a result of this incident.
