DSP News Release: Troopers Investigate Stabbing at Motel

Location: Superlodge Motel, 1213 West Avenue, New Castle, DE

Date of Occurrence: Thursday, December 01, 2011 at 9:10 a.m.

Resume: 

New Castle, DE-Delaware State Police detectives are currently investigating the stabbing of a female victim that occurred at the Superlodge Motel located in the 1200 block of West Avenue in New Castle this morning.

Initial information is that one female victim has been stabbed. The victim has been transported to the Christiana Hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries.

This incident is still under investigation at this time.

More details will be released at a later time.

The Delaware State Police are asking anyone who may have any information in reference to this incident to contact Troop 2 at 302-834-2630.
