TEEN CHARGED IN KINGS MARKET BURGLARY


DSP News Release:  Teen Charged in Kings Market Burglary

 Resume:

Lincoln, De-Delaware State Police Sunday August 28th charged a 14 year old Lincoln teen for a burglary to Kings Market located in Lincoln Delaware. 

 

State Police detectives discovered the teenager forced entry into the business early Sunday morning during the Hurricane Irene event.  Once inside the business the teenager caused approximately $400.00 in property damage before fleeing.  State Police were notified about the Burglary via the store owner.   

 

The teenager fled with an undisclosed amount of United States currency and over $1,000 worth of cigarettes. 

 

State Police detectives through evidence obtained from the crime scene and other confidential information were able to link the Lincoln teen to the crime.  The teenager was charged with Burglary, Theft and Criminal Mischief and released on $750.00 unsecured bond.
