Resume: Georgetown, De-Delaware State Police Thursday August 18, 2011 charged Cameo Bannister-18 of Georgetown and a 17 year old Millsboro teen for an alleged robbery they committed on August 17th.
The incident began when the victim’s became disabled on Zoar Road in front of the Field Farms Development Georgetown Delaware. The victim called Cameo Bannister-18 of Georgetown an acquaintance to assist him with a ride.
When Bannister arrived to meet the victim he was accompanied by a 17 year old Millsboro teen. The victim entered Bannister’s car and was driven to a remote location and robbed. Bannister pulled his car to the side of the road and pointed a handgun at the victim demanding money.
Once Bannister and the 17 year old obtained the victim’s money, he was then driven back to his disabled vehicle. Prior to being released Bannister threatened to do harm to the victim and his family if the incident was reported to police.
State Police detectives arrested Bannister and the 17 year old for Robbery First degree, Possession of a Firearm, Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon and Terroristic Threatening.
Bannister is currently being held in Sussex Correctional Institute in lieu of $33,000 secured bond. The 17 year old teen was remanded to the Stevenson House on $3,200.00 cash bond. |
