DSP News Release: Search for Subject on I-95 Concluded
Resume: New Castle- The search for the subject who fled from a Delaware State Trooper after a vehicle stop has ended. The subject has not been located and is still at large; however, troopers do not feel that there is a risk to the public.
The investigation into this incident is continuing and full details will be released at a later time.

DSP News Release: Police Activity on I-95
Location: Northbound I-95 south of DE Rt. 141 (Churchman’s Marsh) New Castle, DE
Date of Occurrence: Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at approximately 10:00 a.m.
Resume: New Castle- The Delaware State Police along with officers from the New Castle County Police Department and the Delaware Fire Marshal’s Office are currently conducting a search for a male suspect who fled from a trooper following a traffic stop on I-95 this morning. Initial indication is that one of two individuals who were occupying the car that was stopped by the trooper ran from the location of the stop and jumped over a wall into the marsh area.
No lanes of I-95 have been shut down at this time; however, traffic may be affected.
This situation is ongoing at this time. More details will be released after they are received.
