DSP News Release: Troop 2 Burglary Detectives Request Public Assistance

 

Location

  • Cigarette City, 719 Ace Memorial Drive, Hockessin, DE

 

Date of Occurrence:  

  • Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 3:15 a.m.

 

Suspects/Suspect Vehicle:

  • Suspect #1: Black male, wearing dark clothing and black scarf covering face.
  • Suspect #2:  Black male, wearing dark shirt, light colored pants, white baseball cap, and white shirt covering face.
  • Suspect Vehicle:  Dark colored SUV, possibly GMC Envoy or Blazer.

Resume:

Hockessin-The Delaware State Police are requesting public assistance in identifying two suspects in connection with the burglary of the Cigarette City store, located in Hockessin, DE.

 

The incident occurred on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at approximately 3:15 a.m. as the suspects smashed out the front door to the Cigarette City located at 719 Ace Memorial Drive, Hockessin.  The suspects entered the store and removed numerous cases of cigarettes valued over $1000.00.  The suspects exited the store and fled in a dark colored SUV described as a GMC Envoy or Blazer.

 

Burglary Detectives are requesting anyone who may have information or can identify the suspects in reference to this incident to contact the Burglary Unit at Troop 2 at 302-834-2630 ext. 211 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.  Information may also be provided via the internet at www.tipsubmit.com
