SUSPECT CHARGED IN CAB DRIVER ROBBERY

Resume: Camden-Sunday July 10, 2011 Delaware State Police contacted a 39 year old Dover cab driver in the parking lot of the Valero Gas Station S. DuPont Highway Camden Delaware regarding a robbery investigation.
The investigation revealed a driver for City Cab was sitting in the parking lot of Valero Gas when he was approached by a heavy set black male. The suspect confronted the victim, implied he had a gun and demanded money.
The victim turned over an undisclosed amount of United States Currency to the suspect who then fled the area. The victim was not injured.
After disseminating surveillance photos to local Law Enforcement Officers of the robbery, State Police detectives identified Roger C. Barlow Jr of Dover as a suspect. Arrest warrants for Barlow were obtained charging him with 1 count of Robbery First Degree.
Barlow was arraigned today and released on $20,000 unsecured bond.
