17 year old Linked to Dover Shooting Turns Himself into Authorities

Resume Update 08/04/11: Dover-A 17 year old Dover teen linked to the Capital Park shooting Tuesday July 26th has turned himself into authorities. The 17 year old suspect walked into the Dover Police Station who then turned the suspect over to Troop 3 officials.
The 17 year old was arraigned on Assault, Weapons, Burglary and conspiracy charges then remanded to the Stevenson Detention Center on $55,000 secured bond.
Delaware State Police are continuing their search for Mark Tolson-18 and Morris E. Savage-18 both of Dover.

Additional Suspects Identified in Capital Park Shooting Investigation

Resume Updated 08/02/11: Dover-Delaware State Police detectives are still searching for Mark Tolson-18 of Dover for his involvement in the July 26th shooting in the Capital Park Development Dover Delaware.
State Police detectives as a result of their ongoing investigation have identified two other Dover residents as participants in the shooting incident.
Detectives have obtained arrest warrants for Morris E. Savage-18 and Emory O. Cannon-17 both of Dover Delaware. Savage and Cannon are both sought on charges of Assault, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, Burglary and Conspiracy.
George W. Brinkley-21 Dover Delaware is no longer sought or considered a suspect in this investigation.

Updated Location of Arrest for Brandon D. McDonald: Dover-As stated earlier Brandon D. McDonald was apprehended by a member of the Dover Police Department Wednesday July 27, 2011. Additional information just obtained advised McDonald was taken into custody around 1:30 p.m. without incident in the 100 block of Harmony Lane city limits of Dover.

Resume Update 07/28/11: Dover-Wednesday July 27, 2011 a member of the Dover City Police Department contacted Brandon D. McDonald as he was walking on a road within the Dover City limits (I currently do not have a more specific location of where he was apprehended). McDonald was detained and turned over to Delaware State Police detectives.
McDonald following arraignment for the aforementioned crimes was remanded to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in lieu of $180,500 secured bond.
Delaware State Police detectives continue to search for Mark Tolson and George W. Brinkley who are still at large. Detectives also are continuing to develop additional information about others possibly involved in Tuesday night's shooting.
The 21 year old victim flown to Christiana Hospital Tuesday evening required surgery however is now listed in stable condition. The condition of the 36 year old victim in this case is believed also to be stable. The 15 year old victim was treated and released Tuesday evening.

DSP News Release: 3 Sought in Overnight Dover Shooting

Resume: Dover-Delaware State Police detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 100 block of Presidents Drive, in the Capital Park Community Dover Delaware between 9:50 pm and 10:07 pm Tuesday evening.
When State Troopers arrived at the residence they discovered 3 victims’ ages 21, 36 and 15 had been shot. A 21 year old Dover man suffered a gunshot wound to his right rear back and the bullet then traveled to the internal area of his chest. The 21 year old victim was then flown to Christiana Hospital and is listed in critical condition.
A 36 year old Magnolia Delaware man also sustained a gunshot wound to his left shoulder and was transported and admitted to Kent General Hospital Dover. The third victim in the shooting, a 15 year old Dover teen (male) received minor injuries also believed to be from a bullet and was treated and released from Kent General Hospital.
The State Police investigation revealed the three victims prior to the shooting were inside a residence on Presidents Drive Dover when Brandon D. McDonald-22, Mark Tolson-18 and George W. Brinkley-21 all over Dover unlawfully entered the residence through the front door.
Once inside the residence McDonald is alleged to have discharged several rounds of ammunition from a handgun which struck the three victims. Delaware State Police are continuing investigate whether additional suspects were present during the shooting.
State Police Detectives through investigative means were able to identify McDonald, Tolson and Brinkley as being present during the shooting. The Delaware State Police are actively searching for all three suspects after warrants were obtained consisting of Assault, Burglary, Conspiracy and a weapons charge.
State Police detectives are continuing their criminal investigation and currently have no additional releasable details related to the motive behind this shooting.
