Dover-Delaware State Police Wednesday August 3^rd charged Mark A. Miller-20 of Dover after conducting an assault investigation.  The assault occurred in the 100 block of Mast Circle Dover Delaware Tuesday evening around 5:00 p.m.

The investigation revealed that Miller was providing child care for the victim on Tuesday August 2^nd.  The child began jumping on the bed where Miller was lying and was asked to stop by Miller. 

When the child continued to jump, Miller kicked the child causing him to fall from the bed striking his head on a car seat.   The victim sustained a severe laceration to his head which required 6 staples. 

Miller was charged with Assault Second Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.  Miller was arraigned and released after posting $2,500 secured.
