Bowers Beach-Delaware State Police Detectives this week have arrested 4 persons involved in the July 30^th Home Invasion Robbery in the 100 block of Bayshore Drive Bowers Beach Delaware. 

Arrested are Preston M. Cole-23 of Dover and Michael J. Field-26 of Frederica charged on Tuesday August 2^nd, Vaughn E. Williams-23 of Dover on Wednesday August 3^rd and Carson J. Leone-20 Thursday August 4^th.   Delaware State Police are still actively searching for a 17 year old Frederica teenager who is also wanted for his involvement in the July 30^th home invasion robbery.

State Police detectives through the course of their criminal investigation were able to piece together information implicating 5 individuals being directly involved of the home invasion robbery.  The investigation is ongoing.  

Cole, Field, Williams and Leone all have been arraigned on Robbery, Weapon’s, Burglary, Assault, Conspiracy and related charges and remanded to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in lieu of secured bond.

DSP News Release:  State Police Investigating Home Invasion Robbery

DATE and TIME:

• Saturday July 30, 2011 1:30 a.m.

Victim(s):

• 50 year old Bear Delaware man
• 55 year old Round Rock, TX man

Suspect(s):

• 3 white males
• Suspect-1 6’03”, 220 lbs, carrying a club NFD
• Suspect-2 5’08”-5’10”, 180 lbs carrying a club NFD
• Suspect-3 displayed a handgun NFD

 Resume:

Bowers Beach-Delaware State Police are investigating a home-invasion style robbery in the 100 block of Bayshore Drive Bowers Beach Delaware.  The robbery was reported to have occurred around 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

The investigation revealed three masked white males entered the residence brandishing weapons.  Two of the suspects carrying an unknown type of club and the third displayed a handgun. 

The suspects assaulted a 50 year old victim and demanded money.  The suspects obtained the money and fled the residence to an unknown location. 

The 50 year old Bear man was transported to Kent General Hospital for minor injuries, treated and released.
