Resume: Milton-Delaware State Police are searching for Shaquill D. Norwood-18 of Milton Delaware. Norwood is wanted by for his involvement in two incidents which occurred on Friday July 22nd and Monday July 25th 2011.
Friday July 22nd State Police contacted two victims after they were nearly struck by a vehicle driven by Norwood. The 16 year old male and female victims were walking on Fisher Road when they observed Norwood drive past them.
Norwood, a former boyfriend of the 16 year old female victim turned around in a Cul de sac and accelerated toward the victims in an aggressive manner. Following the incident Norwood fled the area.
Later that same day, Norwood confronted the victim near her residence and held a knife in a menacing posture toward the 16 year old female victim before fleeing.
Monday July 25th State Police were again contacted by the 16 year old victim and her 62 year old grandmother. State Police discovered on this occasion Norwood unlawfully entered the victim’s residence. Once inside Norwood went to the 16 year old victim’s room and initiated a physical confrontation with her. Norwood took a cellular phone from the 16 year old victim, who then grabbed him by the leg in order to prevent his flight.
Norwood during the altercation kicked the 16 year old victim on the side of her face. The 62 year old woman took the phone back from Norwood, who then fled from the residence when the police were called.
The victims declined medical treatment.
Delaware State Police obtained arrest warrants for both incidents and have been actively looking for Shaquill D. Norwood.
