Resume

Dover, DE- The Delaware State Police with the assistance of the Kent County Governor’s Task Force have arrested two Dover men on drug and weapons charges following a search of a residence last night.

The incident began at approximately 10:50 p.m. last night (4/24) as two troopers assigned to Troop 3, Camden, responded to a residence located in the 100 block of Sorghum Mill Road, Dover in an attempt to execute a warrant on an unrelated matter. As the troopers were approaching the residence which was a second floor apartment, they smelled the strong odor of what appeared to be marijuana. As the troopers executed the warrant attempt, it was determined that the odor of the marijuana was not coming from the second floor apartment.

The troopers then responded to the first floor apartment and upon knocking on the door, came into contact with a male subject later identified as John Ramsaroop-Graham. It was then that the troopers determined that the odor of the marijuana was coming from inside. As the troopers were speaking with Ramsaroop-Graham, they observed a second subject, later identified as Larry Harvey, exit a room of the apartment. As he did, the troopers were able to observe a large bag of marijuana inside of the room. The troopers then requested the assistance of the Kent County Governor’s Task Force.

Upon their arrival, Task Force members obtained consent to search the residence at which time they seized approximately 8.6 pounds of marijuana, $3,300.00 in suspected drug sale proceeds, a 38 caliber handgun, and drug paraphernalia.

Larry Harvey and John Ramsaroop-Graham were both arrested and charged with the above list of crimes. They were arraigned at JP Court 7 and released after posting bail.
