Resume: Seaford-Delaware State Police are actively searching for Ashley W. Allen-32 of Georgetown Delaware, sought in reference to a hobby store burglary investigation.
The “Hobby Shop” located on Sussex Highway was burglarized Monday evening around 9:24 p.m. April 25th. The investigation revealed that a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado backed up to the front door of the Hobby Shop and parked. The operator Ashley W. Allen then exited his truck and smashed the front door window to the store with an unknown object.
Allen entered the Hobby Shop and removed several remote controlled airplanes valued at over $1,000 then placed them into the bed of his pickup truck before fleeing the scene.
A witness to the burglary was able to obtain the registration to Allen’s vehicle and physical description.
Arrest warrants for burglary, theft and criminal mischief have been obtained for Allen. Delaware State Police have not been able to locate Allen who may frequent the Seaford area.
