Wilmington- The Delaware State Police have arrested a 71 year old Newark, DE man after he was caught exposing himself inside of a Wilmington area cemetery.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, as troopers were advised to respond to the All Saints Cemetery located in the 2800 block of Old Capitol Trail, in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Troopers were advised that the vehicle, a silver Ford Fusion, was occupied by a male subject and was parked in the cemetery in the area of the St. Marks High School track where the girls track team was currently practicing.

As troopers approached the vehicle, they observed that the male subject had his pants down around his ankles and was masturbating. The subject, later identified as Robert K. Matlosz, saw the approaching troopers and immediately began to flee in his car. After leading the responding officers on a short pursuit inside of the cemetery, Matlosz stopped his vehicle and was taken into custody.

Robert Matlosz was arrested and charged with the above list of crimes. He was arraigned at JP Court 11 and released on $600.00 unsecured bail. There is no indication at this point that any members of the St. Marks High School girls track team observed Matlosz in the cemetery.
