DSP News Release: Troopers Probe Home Invasion Robbery
Location: Residence in the 300 block of Main Street, Wilmington, DE
Date of Occurrence: Monday, April 11, 2011 at 3:00 p.m.
Victim: 20 year old male (resident)
Suspects:
Suspect #1: Black male, 20-35 years of age, 5’07”-6’00” tall, 200-300 lbs. He was last seen wearing dark pants and was armed with a stick.
Suspect #2: Black male, 25-32 years of age, 5’10”-6’00” tall, 150 lbs. He was last seen wearing dark pants (no further description).
Resume: Stanton- The Delaware State Police are currently investigating a home invasion robbery in which two suspects forced their way into a residence yesterday afternoon in Stanton.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2011 as a 20 year old male victim arrived at his residence in the 300 block of Main Street in Wilmington. As the victim began to enter his home, he was approached by two male suspects, one of which was armed with a large stick. The two suspects forced the victim into the home where they then began struggling with him. During the struggle the suspects were able to remove cash and jewelry from the victim. They then fled the home and were last seen fleeing in a white van. The victim was not injured.
