DSP News Release: Rehoboth Man Sought on Domestic Charges

Resume: Lewes-Delaware State Police are searching for William J. Lower-34 of Rehoboth following a domestic altercation at a formal girlfriend’s residence. The incident occurred at a residence in the 33000 block of Clover Street Lewes Delaware yesterday evening around 8:30.
Lower is alleged to have come to the 34 year old former girlfriend’s residence and entered unlawfully. The 34 year old victim attempted to stop Lower from entering the residence and having a confrontation with a 32 year male acquaintance that was also inside the residence.
Lower during the altercation pushed the 34 year old female while attempting to attack the 32 year old man. Lower also yelled threats of doing physical harm to both of the victims. Present during Lower’s triad were children ages 1, 2, 3 and 16. The previously mentioned children were unharmed; however witnessed the altercation.
Following the domestic incident Lower entered his Chrysler Sebring and fled the scene reportedly driving in a reckless manner. An inquiry into Lower’s driving record revealed he was driving under a suspended license.
Delaware State Police obtained arrest warrants for Lower; however attempts to locate him at his residence have proven to be unsuccessful, Delaware State Police is seeking the public’s assistance in locating William Lower.
