DSP News Release:  Troopers Investigate Robbery of Uncle Willie’s Convenience Store, Lewes 

 

Location:

 

·         Uncle Willie’s, 17581 Coastal Highway, Lewes, Delaware

 

Date of Occurrence:  

 

·         Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 8:00 p.m.

 

Victim:

 

·         23 year old female employee

 

Suspect: 

 

·         White male, 5’06”-5'-08" tall, 200 lbs, approx 40-45 years old.  He was last seen wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt and was armed with a knife

Lewes- The Delaware State Police are investigating the robbery of Uncle Willie’s in Lewes that occurred last evening.

 

The incident occurred as the white male suspect entered the Uncle Willie’s convenience store located at 17581 Coastal Highway, Lewes, at approximately 8:00 p.m.  The Suspect approached the 23 year old employee, brandished a knife and demanded money.  The suspect removed an undisclosed amount of United States Currency and fled the business on foot in an unknown direction.
