Delaware State Police

Welcome to the home of Kent County Crime Watch


The Kent County Crime Watch Group meets at 7:00 pm on the first Thursday  of each month. The meeting is located at the Delaware State Police Museum - 1425 N. Dupont Hwy, Dover.

The purpose of the Watch

  1. To be an advocate for the Kent County Communities working with the Delaware
    State Police and to help reduce crime within Kent County.
  2. To promote a safe environment to live in while working together as communities.
  3. To access grants and other resources to maintain crime watch readiness.
  4. To establish an Educational Network to address the needs and concerns of the
    community as they relate to crime watch within the communities such as alcohol,
    drugs, tobacco and recreation.
  5. To maintain vigilance and cooperation with officials and governmental agencies,
    to see the various public services affecting the community, efficiently administered.
  6. To establish a partnership with local business to provide resources and technical
    assistance for crime watch.
  7. To provide a monthly forum for discussion and resolution of matters of interest
    to the county.
