How to Succeed in the Hiring Process Seminars

The Delaware State Police is hosting their How to Succeed in the DSP Hiring Process Seminars for applicants of the 86th Recruit Class.

The seminar is not mandatory, however applicants are encouraged to attend to learn more about the Delaware State Police and the hiring process.

The Delaware State Police is announcing the closing date of Friday, June 28, 2013 at 4:00 pm for accepting applications for the position of Trooper for the 86th Recruit Class. Any applications received after this date will be considered for the 87th Recruit Class.

Job Opening for position of Cadet:

We are currently accepting applications for the uniformed Cadet program, primarily responsible for enforcing disabled parking and fire lane violations. This is a year-round, 29.5 hour-per-week position at $13.04 an hour. The vacancies are in New Castle County only. Candidates must be between 18 and 20 and enrolled in college. Additional criteria apply, including physical agility standards. Candidates with emergency service experience or exposure are preferred. The application deadline is Friday, June 21, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. Cadet applications, physician authorization forms and additional information are available through the Important Documents tab at the top of this page.
